Tuesday September,20 Topic Choice #1 Characters
The main characters so far are Daisy,Edmond,Issac,and Piper.
Daisy is the one telling the story in first person
Edmond,Issac, and Piper were her cousins
Edmond is sort of the bad one because how Daisy described him "Now let me tell you what he looks likes before I forget because its not exactly what you'd expect from you average fourteen-year-old what with a CIGARETTE and hair that looked like he cut it himself with a hatchet in the dead of night"pg 3 paragraph 2. I think he is a dynamic character because in pg 3 he is talking to her and being friendly but in later in the story he starts talking less.
Issac isn't really a big part of the story yet because so far all he has done is grab Daisy's bags when she got home.Also he is Edmond's twin cousin except he has green eyes and Edmond has gray eyes.
Based on how Daisy is describing Piper, Piper seems like the joyful and perky cousin because in pg 6 it says "At first I liked Piper best because she just looked at me straight in the eye and said We are very glad you are here Daisy"Also she seems like the joyful one because in pg 9 paragraph 1 it states "Piper asked me if I wanted to see the animals, or just lie down for a while, and I said lie down because even before I left New York I hadn't exactly been getting my fair share of sleep.She looked disappointed,but only for a second,and really I was feeling so much more tired that polite that hardly cared."Last I think Piper is a static character because ever since she met Daisy she was offering her to go see animals,if she wanted water,tea,and fishing.

Issac is still the same because he doesn't really talk much.
Edmond gets to talk to Daisy a little more and they start bonding.
Piper hasn't really changed she still is happy Daisy moved in with them and she still wants to show plenty more things around.Edmond an Daisy talk more because him and her are the oldest.Piper wants to show Daisy the flowers all the animals and more.Also Aunt Penn is still in Oslo,and a bomb goes off in London killing thousands of people and shutting down the airports.

The main character in the book is Brian and he gets stranded in a forest.Brian is important because he is the main character in the book.Brian is not really shy and the author describes him sort of chubby and he is also kind to people.One piece of evidence that he is kind is when he was talking to the pilot on the plane the pilot let him fly the plane for 3 seconds and even though it was a little bit of time Brian said that he really enjoyed it.Brian is dynamic because he was a little shy when he was first introduced but later on he started to gain more confidence.One piece of evidence is when he was talking to the pilot he was not shy anymore,he was talking confident.Another piece of evidence is when he was with his mom he was a little shy because there were people around him and staring at him.

The main conflict is that Brian got stranded in a forest.The problem started when the pilot got a heart attack and died.This is a conflict because he has to survive in the wilderness by himself.Brian starts to gather food and builds a shelter to sleep and be protected during the night.Brian is reacting sort of calm after he convinced himself that he could survive in the wilderness alone.The conflict is external because he has to survive physically.The conflict is situational because he has to be physically strong to be able to survive.One example is when he was taking out all the supplies he had to survive he included himself because he knew that he could survive.Another piece of evidence is when he started to make his own tools like a bow and arrow and a spear to kill animals with like fish and chicken.

An important piece of this book is when the pilot got a heart attack while he was flying the plain.This scene is important because it is where the conflct starts.Brian gets shocked and remembers what the pilot told him about the plain before they left and Brian was able to keep the plain in the air until it ran out of fuel.This scene is the Expostion.How did Brian remember how to fly a plane in so litte time,did the shock of the pilot dying help him remeber?

The main characters in the book are katniss and peeta.They are important because they are the ones who win the hunger games.Katniss is a good person but she gets into trouble because she likes to rebel against the person who created the hunger games.Peeta is more shy and less willing to get into trouble.Katniss stays the same throughout the book because she is always doing something good and getting into trouble.Peeta changes throughout the book becuase he starts to be less shy further on in the book.
